Olleros - Chavin

 

One of the most ancient cultures of Peru flourished near to Cordillera Blanca, Chavin culture, lacted in the west side of the mountain range between Mosna and Puchca rivers, in the Callejon de Conchucos. The goal of this trekking tour is to get to Chavin archeological center using the ancient Pre-inca trail that still exists and using the llamas to transfer the equipment.

Day 1: Huaraz –Olleros (3526m) – Sacracancha  (4080m)

Day 2: Sacracancha – Yanashallash pass (4770m) - Shoncopampa  (3900m)

Day 3: Shoncopampa – Chavín de Huantar (3300m)
